China finally perform initial testing megabus capable of carrying 1,200 passengers each way. These buses have other advantages, with a unique design, which makes the other vehicles can pass around at the bottom.
This bus drove over a special rail vehicle whose position does not disturb the other because it was made outside the ordinary vehicle lanes. This vehicle is part of the elevated transit bus (TEB) and is claimed to have attracted some countries, such as Brazil, France, India, and Indonesia.
Citing Dailymail.co.uk and Inhabitat.com, Wednesday (08/03/2016), this bus has a 22 m long, 7.8 m wide and 4.8 m high. At present, for the first time, this is just a new bus can carry 300 passengers, but the future will be able to transport 1,200 people.
The first test was conducted in the city Qin Huang, whose main objective to evaluate the braking system, the ability to attract, and power consumption (electric powered).
TEB is still far enough to be implemented in the busy streets of China Town. However, the start of this test is a promising first step toward what may be the future of public transport.
