Not only passenger cars, buses also need a player for the driver like autonomous technology. Mercedes-Benz develop the Future Bus, and is now beginning to be tested in the streets of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The bus was demonstrated in lane bus rapid transit (BRT), the longest in Europe, capable of driving itself for 20 km in speeds above 70 kph. These trials also proved successful bus driver does not need an active role.
