Mitsubishi and Suzuki Has Been Going Down in China

It seems that a big name of Mitsubishi and Suzuki this time can't give a good sale in China. As reported by Nikkei (7/11), the Japanese car sales in China are not showing signs of progress, just a slump.

Mitsubishi in the first half actually has decreased to 31.4% compared to during the first semester in 2015. Mitsubishi ASX (known as Outlander Sport) as the best-selling products also decreased by 16.7% or just sell as many as 3,119 units.

In June 2016 Mitsubishi plummeted by 25.6% compared to June 2015. That time was 15 months Mitsubishi continues to decline. Suzuki also experienced the same thing as they decreased 14.7%, which means only sell as many as 11.471 units.

Suzuki had time to enjoy the value of the high demand on his SUV, Vitara, which recently launched December 2015. However, the change in the tax structure make increasingly fierce competition in the compact vehicle segment. Suzuki sales in China in half of January to June, 2016 fell 22.3 pesen be 85.147 units.
